Kate Osborne BSc (Hons) Dip BCNH.
Kate is a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) which is the governing body for the field of nutrition. Kate is also registered with the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which is the regulator for this field. CNHC is supported by the department of health and is government recognised.
Kate received a distinction in nutritional therapy from the UK College of Nutrition and Health in 2007, a leading London college that has a reputation for achieving the highest standards. Kate now acts as a tutor at the UK College of Nutrition and Health for second and fourth year students. Kate also has a degree in Biology from the University of East Anglia.
Having had a few health problems of her own in her early twenties which involved endless trips to the doctor’s surgery with little benefit, Kate eventually went to seek the advice of a nutritional therapist and found that by making a few simple but solid changes to her diet, the health problems just vanished, leaving her with a completely clean bill of health and feeling great.
Now Kate's aim is to pass this knowledge on to help other people to achieve optimum health, making people understand that by eating a healthy diet specific to your needs as an individual you can change the way that you feel, extend your life expectancy and drastically cut down on those trips to the doctor’s surgery.
Kate is a very active member of Toast Masters International, an organisation dedicated towards helping people improve communication and leadership skills. Kate is a member of Soka Gakkai International, a buddhist organisation dedicated to world peace.
